A few things:

1. All people on neowin have been refunded (the issue got out of hand).

2. I have completed 2 good sales on this forum, one for £190 and another for £20. All items were received.

3. Stuart, as you know your item has been delivered to the wrong address, and I have sent in a compensation claim to the Royal Mail. I have already refunded you £50 on the basis that you agree until the investigation by the Royal Mail is complete. This should take no longer than 14 days. However, I have tried to contact you by PM in the past few days and you have not been replying. I wish to discuss arranging to pay you back the full £300, as I am confident the Royal Mail will refund me my monies as I have visited the address in Kilmarnock, and it is empty.

If you can get in touch with me asap, so I can phone you to arrange the further £300 to be refunded.

I was a bit wary before dealing with him as he was a new user and ending up paying by COD and everythin went fine however it was only a few sim cards.

It turns out on another forum he also sold a few sims sucessfully before scamming two people out of £150 each.
Here: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=343881&st=0

Looks as though he builds up a bit of feedback before scamming on larger items

@handymobilezuk
If you need any more help let me know as I have his address, bank acount and e-mail addresse.

It was not a scam, it was a genuine sale, that never followed through because of problems with my family.

All those people on neowin were refunded fully - and you can contact them direct to confirm that.

Hopefully Stuart (handymobz) will reply to this thread to confirm that he's received his refund in the next few days as well (once i send it!), and stop all this nonsense.

Well, i don't think we'll get anywhere quick with this one - i've tried to call him today twice, and he isn't answering his phone.

Well, the issue is quite deep, and i'd rather resolve it by speaking to him, rather than PM. But i trust he'll come up trumphs, and we'll be able to settle this once and for all.

Yep. Now, the guy who was quick to complain about him, isn't quick contacting him. [addsig]

Lol this makes me laugh, cant get hold of me only been tryin today (and i have been at work) rings me with with held number so how am i to ring back. Not getting in contact i no all about that when i was originally chasing him for the info where he was not even responding. I had to dig through loads of details and get hold of other ppl who where involved in simply dealing with him to get a phone number to ring. And then i am being told not to ring him only to send letters to him or pm him lol. And then i am being told i cant have a full refund intill a royal mail investigation has taken place, not being funny but if i sold something to someone and they didnt receive due to a third party person i would refund straight away as its the sellers responsiblity to insure that the buyer gets his goods and he is happy. I have been pretty good so far waiting for you to do something, and to be fair you have kept me updated, i want this resolved asap as £350 loss in my business books stands out a mile! I have pmed details where you can send a cheque please let me know when it is sent, also need to chase the £50 which you sent via bank transfer because it does not appear to show. Thanks Stuart

Yes, I have kept you updated, and to be honest, this matter is completely unrelated to those on neowin (who - it is argued - i tried to 'scam' - quite weird really, because they got their money back - if I had tried to scam them, wouldn't I have spent the money already?.. hmm).

My house phone automatically witholds its number, but I did PM you to confirm that I had called, and at what times. I have PM'd you with my mobile number.

In regards to the Royal Mail, I am still awaiting notice from them that they have opened an investigation - like I said, i'm 99% sure I'll be compensated because the property in Kilmarnock is an empty boarded up house.

I have sent you a further PM that holds details of the £50 and its whereabouts (ie, that you did receive it!).

Well, finally spoke to Stuart today. Sound guy. Sorted everything out.

I'll be leaving positive feedback about the bloke, even though we couldn't complete sale.
