@happy - Nice, nice, nice ! Looks like that the 608 is a slimmer one mate. How about it's functionality and price? Thanks ! [addsig]

@JN,

My HBH-608 appears to work better than the 662; it has only disconnected twice in 2 weeks. Unlike my 662, which disconnected once or twice a day. And people on the other end of the phone say they hear me clearer when I'm using the 608.

Downside is the price. The 608 is cheaper than the 662, but over the counter is can cost roughly £50ish. Ebay price from HK is nearer £35-£40.

@happy - Thanks! I will try to check it's price here in my place, at a shop perhaps. [addsig]

Well HBH-PV700 have finally answered the opinion I have.

When I have a phone with fast port conenctor, I will definitely ignore HBH608 or 610 since I don't like to bring to charger along when I am travelling.

The quality for BT v1.2 headset is already pretty good...I still don't see why I need v2....well they might also planning a v2 BT headset with fast port. Maybe just wait till March 06 (Cebit 2006) and we will know more.

I got the 608... chose it over the Bluespoon AX. I'm very happy with it. Connection is clear, voice dialling works well (except in a noisy environment like a mall or crowded street)

Standby time is pretty good, and connection is pretty stable. I'm just wondering why the mic is on the outside of the boom, not at the bottom.

I think you are referring to the speaker right?

to me it could be some acoustic related thing.....but in this way it might also mean easier way to service it if you have faulty speaker

no, no.. i mean the mic. The hole for the mic is on the OUTER side of the boom... not the edge facing your mouth. Either that or what is that hole on the outer side???

I guess a picture is worth a thousand words, eh?

See the mic at the front of the headset?
