use the com port specified for the phone in your bluetooth settings in control panel (xp native) or your bluetooth dongle software (or bluetooth settings on a mac) |

Use Mobiledit, it backs up botj of these and many more phones, then you can just copy all data into your next phone, about 200 are supported now, + it does much more and can even hekp to trace a stolen phone, check their web.

FMA is dead...
Development has stopped (so it seems) and newer phones are not fully supported.
It was THE best, but not anymore.

I don't agree that FMA is dead. I really do think that FMA has a very bright future.. Look, there's no other software which can handle loads of loads of scripts, you can browse on your PC, you can fully manage your PC with a T610! It's open source, when we talk about FMA i think we should just say: THANK YOU for the developers.. And yea i think they're working on new phones support, too.. Something's gonna happen, i'm sure. I'm optimistic.
But yea, seriously, FMA's just good, free, open-source.

in next couple of days will be released new fma stable version which compatible with new phones (k750 & w800), then after that all fma developers will focus on preparing fma-3 which will support other brands (not only SE phones).
hope this can explain that... fma is not dead.. |

if that is true, then I will go back to using it. I only stopped because it was getting to the point where I could do more with myphoneexplorer than I could with fma. It became pointless. That was on the K700. When I got the K750, I had no option, whereas myphoneexplorer is compatible with K750, so I kept using that.
Other peeps have found the same thing, and since no work had been done on fma much further than T610 (in terms of full support for newer models), the conclusion was drawn that fma was dead.
It is truly good news if they are still developing, since it was a great piece of open source software. |

i'm wondering whether there's no other device explorer that explores more 'within' the phone. Some files that we can't reach with these programs like e.g the standard sms-sound files, or the playlist that you have made on the phone etc..
in fact, all these programs are just doing the same |
