In order for O2 to keep existing customers, i.e. they ask for their PAC number in order to transfer to an alternative provider, O2 tend to give discounts to their existing customers.
While you are in contract with O2 you earn what are esentially loyalty points, so when you say you'll leave them they look at your staus and give you a nice deal.
It's good if you're an existing customer, but for new customers you're pretty much stuck with what they have instor and online...... and i've tried
It's a pity orange don't help you out when you think you're paying too much |

@ilovewilf
Same thing happened to me with Voda. I wasn't happy with aspects of their service (overbranding on phones) so I asked for my PAC. I was intending to leave for O2.
A couple of days later Voda rang me up & they offered me a retention deal on a new batch of K750i's that can play MP3 ringtones. I took it as it was a free upgrade on a £15 a month contract for 100 mins with 50 texts.
Unlike other networks, Voda's unused monthly minutes still rollover on lower tariffs. Thankfully, the Voda branding on the K750i isn't too bad.

textappeal..
I've been on the phone with orange a couple of times and been fairly honest with them. I've never had any problems with CS, however saying that i've never used them..
Whoever i spoke to addopted, what seemed like a who cares attitude. As in, i don't care that you think you're paying too much, oh, and by the way have a nice time when you do leave.
I was all ready to sign up for another 12 months, now i'm going. Apart from the fact that existing customers have to sign up for 18 month contracts to get the 6 month double deal, their over-branding on the handsets really does annoy me now.
I left O2 after a good few years of use, now i wish i'd never left.. perhaps they'd now be paying me to use their services... well we can all dream

The questions is will the Bluetek G2 Headset work with the K750i, or will you experience the same bugs (disconnected audio) as me and others on this forum. I updated via SEUS to latest firmware and still the bug exists. Let me know if you have success... It works for a short while then stops transmitting audio between headset and phone. |

I've just bought a K750i with probably the best contract ever! £30 for the phone and BT headset!, £19 a month for 50Xnetwork mins & 500txts!! Thank you O2!!! Ps, How can I update the K750 without using Seus? Cheers!

Now that doesn't seem fair. I'm on the same tariff but my K750 cost me 49.99(I did get the BT headset) but still Only got it about a month ago. |
