plus be happy that SE phones are probably the easiest and cheapest to unbrand and flash to generic OEM firmware. you can do it even with the included cable via DaVinci.
For nokia, you would have to spend a LOT of money getting one of the sarasoft solutions or zulea's PBB (phoneix black box); both of which are MUCH more expensive than a DaVinci log.

There is another option to leaving...
get a free upgrade to the vodafone K750. Then flash the standard software (about 20 euros), then get the replacement black covers (see another recent post in the forum) for about 60 euros. (please be aware that these are just estimates!!!)
Then u basically have a sim free for about 80 euros! Which isnt bad! Ok, if it sounds like hard work, leave, but this is another option!!

Here in NZ don't directly distribute either, it comes down to what the operators want to get in. Since we only have vodafone they're reluctant to not bring in anything that doesn't have live! plastered all over it. But they did do the T630 here unbranded, they just didn't advertise it hard.
Blame the operators who don't want to provide you with an unbranded phone, I do.
You could always buy your phone from elsewhere unbranded anyhow.
did force me to goto sleep early last ngiht, for that I shall never forgive them.

Personally I think Motorola's a way worse than Nokia phones.

Hmmm... I've seen some Motorolas that aren't bad... I happen to prefer Nokia though... Altho my first mobile was an NEC. Back then they were the ONLY mobiles available in S.Africa.

hmm... just wondering why here in the philippines we dont have branded phones as u say it... i think the first ones to come out are always the unbranded ones like you are not lock in a network and you could use different sims... after a month or so... then the networks would sell like for example a k750i locked on their network so you couldnt use any other sim card of any network... but of course you could openline it but it looses its warranty |

Oksy, Doksy friends, May be SE release their phones with brandings, but there are many easy and reliable ways to de-brand them.
So we can buy one with branding with all the good free stuff like extra BT headset etc. and debrand it, use it to our will.
Anyway you can find debranded SE phones in asian countries- None of the phones i bought so far wasn't branded-
Enjoy FRIENDS.../
