Where can I put it ??
I can only put it in the network connection, not in the query modem.. |

okay...have you created a new dialup connection on your pc's desktop...when you double click on it, it should give you a box which has the following
Username: leave it blank
Password: leave it blank
Dial up #: *99***1#
Click ok..to start dialing...make sure your IR adapter is plugged in and the IR on phone is switched on too

Now....do you have an Internet explorer icon on your desktop...you know..the blue "e"...
hehe..just kidding...just open your browser window and start browsing....
By the way...the connection speed you just mentioned is the link between pc and phone ....the browsing speed will be much lower

did you call your provider...i believe its VINAPHONE...and check if you have "web" gprs active on your account?

web gprs account has to be activated by your network provider....usually they charge you extra money for this....to get it activated you have to call your provider and tell them to activate it...if its not already active

okay...the *99***1# is not a tel no but the dialup code used by the connection to access the data account on your phone...1 is the data account # for the gprs account, 2 for the mms account as per the query log...cheers..and dont worry bout it..just a matter of tinkering around and you should be surfi the web in no time...happened to me loads of times in the past. |
