No one knows what the limit is, why would it be 4gb? If it can do 4gb, it can probably go to the MS Pro limit, 32gb. Yes that's right, 32gb.
@below24, they are different. Check this this thread:

i experience the phone rebooting while scrolling thru my photos... and it happened both when using the sony 64mb mem stick duo that came with the phone and the sony 1gig mem stick duo and both with r1j and r1L firmware versions.
so i don't know what causes it... |

if thats the case then im guessing the problem is something to do with the k750 and not the memory stick..
sandisk works ok in my p900. doesnt crash.

my phone works fine with supported 64mb card
my phone works fine with 1GB Sandisk card
my phone crashes every now and then when I access folders with 1GB Sony highspeed card
(I changed the card 2 times and it still crashes so yes it's the phone that has issues not the card)
Firmware is R1J (latest)

Using a San Disk 1GB Pro duo myself ,so far havent encountered any problems, could be a faulty memory stick x-p |

is that why there is a 4gb one -_-
check the info before you post, currently most places have max 2 gb but in some places it's possible to find 4 gb sticks, I've seen them with my own eyes
and yes there is no limit defined yet as long as they work as fat 32 (I tried mine it worked) then it is possible for them to go over 2 gb, as for maximum size with the current technology rate I think thye will easily be able to fit 32 gb in that size by next year.

I read in another forum that ppl with 1gb cards have their K750i slow down (5-6 secs to save a pic after taking it, accessing menu, etc). Anyone expereinced that or know anything about it? |

why is it nobody suspects that the picture is the problem?
Many who uses the 512 or 1gb card OK, with the K750i. i am OK with 1gb Sandisk. SO likely not firmware. The only one that is different from all who comment is their content.... funny, don't you think that the content is the problem! |
