@Sailaab,

Thanks for the note. will check it out when am @fort.

Waise, If I use AirTel LIVE to go to their 'Live' site , it works...trouble is AirTel GRPS wont work (which is what anybody wants, i guess). While using 'Airtel GPRS' , I get that msg 'Activation Rejected'....and thats so sad....

Not location specific. Same anywhere. I have a way. Have lot of bookmarks. At different time different sites opens at first. From there you move to where you want to browse. They sure have some problem.

I already told that ip is same anywhere in india for Atel. There is trouble in opening sites. You cant predict which site will open at a given time. That is an intelligent problem going on a.tel lol.

have you called the help desk and activated "Mobile Office" Also which handphone are you using.

For Sony Ericsson I had to send MO to 646 and got the settings over the air and installed it.

For Nokia 6021 I had to install in manually.

These are the Manual Settings:

Access Point: airtelgprs.com

Proxy: Disable

Data Bearer: GPRS

Username: 91YourMobileNumber

Password: 0000

This should get you going.

If you still can't get it working most likely your Mobile Offices has not been activated.

One more. Send an sms "ACT Gprs sonyericsson P900" to 511. Or call customer care at 121 and ask whether your mobile office is active. If yes, send an sms "Mo" to 501. You'll get the settings instantly. Of course 646 also works.

You get settings from anywhere it wont work. For prepaid system //wap profile name is : Airtel Net on Ph //while ip number is same. //Data account name: Airtel Net on Phone (and) //apn : airtelwap.com //don't even try to change little things like capital letters. Now you can browse. This is the only way. This message was posted from a T610
