hmm interesting might have to dismantle my phone as its camera has been broken for a few weeks now.
SE support promised a firmware fix 'imminently' but nothing seems to be happening on that front.
Need to get me a some smaller torx bits though as mine arent small enough to open phone

got a t6 torx and got the front and back off my phone no problem but didnt fancy trying to get the screen and keypad off to get right inside to the camera ribbon connector, didnt look particularly loose though. |

hi i have had my K750i apart three times now for various things... take a look at www.se-nse.com gbrooks has put a handy guide for taking the phone apart.
i can confirm that this IS the flex between the camera module and the PCB (main board).... Just reconnect the flex and bobs yeh uncle, a fixed fone! |

Wow thanks. Based on your post and the instructions on se-nse I decided to have another go.
My camera is now working again.....

Can someone help me? I made sure that the camera cable was on tight and I did but when I put everything back together and tried it out, it still didn't work |

the camera flex in my k750i is loose from the bottom end which is near the bottom of the display. and when i open the camera it opens for 2 seconds and then shuts itself down.
i bought a new camera flex around a week ago. any idea to fix it.
