Yeah,my P900 is well over a year old and apart from ONCE when it wouldn't dial out after it fell out of the Krusell case (my fault), and HARD onto the driveway yesterday, which just required switching the phone off & on again to sort it, it hasn't missed a beat.
I use this phone so much and it just keeps going... |

5110s in good condition are rock solid in reliability and are awesome. I don't know how it compares to other phones at its time, but 5110s SMS better than every phone I've seen. There are some good phone out there, but most phones these days don't have ease of SMSing and the reliability that phones used to have.
Last year I had a 5110 in good condition and there were no probs (and this model is about 10 years old), but I lost it at an airport. I now have a 5110 (bad condition), and may buy another 5110 off eBay. Is this a good idea?

I'm currently using a 3310 now, cos I happened to drop my Nokia 7600 down the toilet the other day (don't ask... ).
It still works just as well as it did 4 years ago.
Always has signal, never drops in calls, has Snake 2, has amazingly smooth predictive texting. All-in-all its still such a solid phone.
Having said that, it obviously lacks a lot of the now "standard" features - bluetooth, camera, polyphonic etc.
I miss all of that from my 7600, so I'm gunna buy a new phone next week. Probally a K750i, but I'm slightly put off by all the aparent bugs. :-/
