The Sandisk sticks are made in the same factory as the Sony branded ones.

my phone crashes 10 times a day when I have my sony 1 gb msd in it,

sometimes it works fine and sometimes when I go to the folder options the files are garbled (garbage text) and when I go to other or sound folders the phone freezes and gives me what I named the white screen of death, I have to take out the battery twice and turn the phone back on then it works fine, when I leave it alone for some time this happens again, just updated firmware hope it solves this problem as I don't know if my msd is screwed or if it's the phone or the firmware, but my msd worked fine on my digital camera so I'm guessing it's the phone.

I've got a Sandisk 1Gb Pro card in my K750i and it works fine. BTW, Sandisk co-developed the memory-stick pro technology with Sony so you shouldn't have a problem with Sandisk branded cards.

I can't give you an exact %age but it appears faster than the stock 64mb card. For example, when browsing thumbnails of the images taken on the phone via the USB link, 20 thumbnails (a screen full) appear some 30%(ish) faster using my pro card. (Same PC, same USB slot, no thumbs.db file saved on card)
