K700i cant send files to PC via IR ! HELP ! |

yeah iv'e solved the problem...bought a gigabyte bluetooth dongle for 25 euros .. and i would strongly recommend anyone NOT TO BUY ANY TYPE OF IR! it sucks!
if you dont have any extra cash for bluetooth dont go buying nuttin!!
BT is much faster, it has a killer range, more reliable and much more functional than IR!
and i can control my PC with the phone.

Well, two things, first you need to be very close and lined up I mean really close 0.5cm. Second the IR port is pretty slow to wake up, so it might take two times until it recognizes the connection.

The file can be transfered from K700i to PC if you change IrDA data rate to 9600.
control panel > wireless link > hardware, high light infrared adapter > properties > advanced > value > 9600 > OK
