fatreg... getting SMS back into the phone is something I REALLY REALLY want as well. The P-series had the "move to phone" option once an SMS was saved to the SIM... does the K750 have a similar option?
In my attempts to find a REAL sms back-up restore solution for the K750... I stumbled onto this site:
http://www.macmedia.sk/pa.htm
It claims it can save SMS back to the phone for the K700... I'm hoping this means that it can work with the K750.

Firefreak, can you backup and restore SMS using FMA? For example, backup an SMS that's on the PHONE memory... delete it... then use FMA to restore the SMS that you backed up ... back to the PHONE memory again? Thanks!

To restore the SMS back to the phone, first you must move them to the Archive section on FMA
So click the archive:
Right click in the large empty window where the messages go, import messages:
Open messages.cvs (or whatever you called your file containing the messages):
Then right click and upload the files one at a time (to keep them in the right order) or select all (ctrl + A) and upload:

Does anyone know how to increase the backlight time on the K750i? The 20 seconds it spends being lit before automatically turning off just ain't enough for me... |

An alternative to FMA would be MyPhoneExporer. Simpler and smaller in size then FAM but can do everything from SMS, making/receiving phone calls, backups, etc.
I tested successfully on SE's T630, K300i, K508i and K750i with both USB cables and bluetooth (the later for T630 and K750i).
Download from k750i.net
