Its not a problem at all. Ok, my K750 has given me anything to go WOW about when compaired to my S700 but overall its a good little phone.
Think of all the little whigners who complained that the S700 was too big. Well this is your chance to get a slightly better equiped phone thats smaller.

Yes the K750 did remind me of my old T610 and T630 when I first held it. Probably because of the size, shape and layout but thats it. Nothing else.

So far after 2 days continuous use of my K750 I've had no sotware problems, freezing etc. No 'creeking' noise's either, Yesterday I dropped it onto the road while putting shopping into my car. It did a few flips and landed underneith my car. When I picked it up there was just 2 minute marks on one of the top corners and that was it. Was expecing more than that.

End of the day. If your not happy with your phone you do have 14 days in which to return it.

Imo theres no need for 20 or so threads from people saying how good/crap a phone is. Everything should be just in one thread/section. Just look around Esato and find a thread that has the same or similar content to what you want to say.

I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

Well im going by customer feedback and people around who have bought the k750i else where and none seem to happy with the k750i, there was a buzz about the t610 and k700i but this phone isn't getting that.
I also don't rate the k750i highly and i have had loads of different model phones marks out of ten i would give it 7 max.

Everyone as their own opinion but maybe a tidy up of threads is needed on this matter

thats nonsense

I could personally name a couple of hundred people that are absolutely extactic about this phone. I could also point to loads of threads in several forums with people displaying the same.

Sure theres a few initial bugs in firmware, so what ?
Every new phone today has bugs when released and everybody knows that today, if people cant handle a few bugs, then simply wait a few months befory buying the phone. Everybody wants to be the first to get the new toys, everybody are screaming before launch to hurry up and launch the phone, but then when its launched the very same people scream about the bugs, and everybody seem to have to scream their own about the same bug. The hypocracy does get a litle tiring to read at times.

Sure the lenscover can screak a litle, it is a moving part, doesnt make much sence comparing to a phone in a aluminum body without any moving parts like the V3. Im sure every possible screak could be eliminated if the phone were build like a tank and weighed 400g, but who wants that ? Im sure the K750 could be build in pure aluminum or titanium, but then everyone would whine about the cost of the phone.

To keep the weigth down lenscover is thin, but it is not made of cheap plastic. Theres nothing wrong with the quality of the plastic used, I assure you that it wont break.

Point is, everybody has a free choise of not buying the phone, but still everybody wants it, and then whines about this and that.

People get this phone because theres not much else that gives better value for money overall. Its relatively cheap, has loads of great functions, nice design, small and handy.

Its simple, if people dont feel they get their moneys worth because of minor imperfections or initial firmwarebugs that everybody knows will be fixed, then get another product they feel is better value for money.

i would be much more content with a k750i in a T610 case (with the extra buttons). I havent had any software glitches yet. I cant compare with nokia ones as i havent had one since 6210 (i went off them a long time ago). I've had a z7,T68i, T610, C100, v620, V3 and K750i since.

K750i has the best software and featureset, but the materials used are worse than all the above including the cheap and cheerful c100.

I cant really return it now as i got the onestopphoneshop deal with 8 months line rental and have used it since- and the returns policy doesnt cover this. I have learnt my lesson and will not assume SE's craftsmanship as being really high next time i get a mobile.

I accidentally dropped my v620 on an escalator on the tube and it went all the way to the bottom and it survived (albeit scarred)- that is what i call quality.

How can it be nonsense , do you want me to get them all to join here to tell you that they are not happy with the k750i , i have sold about 8 of them and 6 of them i have had to try and resell for them due to not being happy with it.
You might be happy and others too but people i have sold the phone to aren't so don't make comments stating nonsense matey. People like you really piss me off sometimes , if your happy well and good enjoy it but others aren't so happy. Not everyone is a freak.

I reckon TheWhizz_68 is right- if there are so many moans and groans about build quality it cant be discounted as nonsense . I reckon moaning about software glitches are normal for such a new handset.

He said he had 6 complains. I would call that few rather than many. However, none of us have any solid statistics. So its difficult to make any conclutions. All we know is that some are happy, others arn't. Pretty much what can be said about any phone.

Well here's my opinion, I have a k750 which is now a week old - Fantastic phone. I frankly don't think that Creaking is really that significant a problem... in fact it's only after i read threads here that i began to notice a creak on pressing the buttons, but it's seems so...normal... and in no way does that suggest that build quality is poor in any way.. it seems sturdy and the sliding lens cover seems elegant.. creaking is hardly noticeable unless u want a 100% creakless phone... and so far i contribute to the section of people who don't have any major bugs on their phones... it's a fast, easy, powerful phone with all the features i ever wanted in a phone..
I can be added to the "I am VERY happy with my phone" list.. and a firmware upgrade can only make things better...

Sony all the way

I am sure this link has been posted before... K750i review...

The only area which the phone flexs is the gap between the battery and the outer shell... If there was no gap... you could not put the battery in??!!!

The phone is well made....it is a more matt finish then the S700i glossy finish... that may make it look like it is inferior materials.... but every manufacturer who make a product whether it is a car, phone or woolie hat, have to design and make their product suitable and build standards that are not set by them... they can exceed these....but never deliver a substandard product... that falls apart in your hand....

There seems alot of crying wolf over the phone.... it is a good product.... it is not made of metal... it is made of plastic.... and the comment on it is made like a plastic toy??? Are plastics for toys, phones and shampoo bottles that different?

I wasnt refering to your specific 6 unhappy customers, I have no reason to think you havent had 6 unhappy customers, but to the underlying implication that most K750 buyers in general were unhappy.

This is simply not true.

If this was a mis interpretation of your post, then sorry my bad.

It doesnt change my view however, that most people find the K750 to be a great phone, and dont think its a problem that the phone is not a brick. It also does not change my view that people are free to choose, and free to investigate before buying.

Just want to add that I'm also completely satisfied with my K750i. Maybe I'm lucky, but I've had no crashes and in fact my phone has been powered on with no resets since the day I bought it. Regarding creaking, I'm not sure I understand what the problem is. Mobile phones are made of plastic and have moving parts (buttons), therefore like any other similar type of device (remote controls etc), there's going to be some noise if you press the buttons or start squeezing and twisting the unit. For 99.9% of people this shouldn't cause them any problems at all. For the remainng 0.1%, well I've got no idea what to say to them....!

Forgot to say, someone earlier mentioned that they didn't think the K750i camera was any better than a 0.3mp Motorola cam. I think I'd have to advise any prospective purchasers to disregard that comment, as it's way off the mark. Have a look at some of the better examples on the photo thread, and you'll see what I mean.

As with any new purchase, do your homework first. If you don't like this phone, buy another one. Simple as that.

I just spent literally the past 10 minutes sitting here and pressing all the buttons on my phone and didn't hear a single creak. The only way that I could induce a creak was by applying a good amount of pressure while pressing the buttons. Plastics are made to be elastic for a reason. So just because it deforms when you apply pressure and makes a noise doesn't mean it's bad quality. I've been using my K750 for almost 2 weeks now and have had no software problems yet. This is my first SE phone and am definitely happy with it.
