I believe most mobile networks call this the Internet APN.

Ahh! Now I understand. My account I have with my provider comes only with a WAP APN and not an Internet APN. This explains the troubles. They told me it was an extra $50/month for access to an unlimited Internet APN. Just to check my email, I don't think it's worth it.

I thought this email program used WAP exclusively to check your mail. What a pity. Oh well.

Dr.pratikB.

Thank you for taking the time to participate and provide feedback. I have attempted to make the app for the lowest common denominator. So you should have have a problem with the 3100 but it obviously it is better on newer model phones.

In terms of your specific issue I am not sure if I understand your problem. When you answer "No" to the prompt to retreiving more messages, what exactly happens?

Look forward to your reply.

There has been a new version posted. This version corrects some issues with Gmail and other webmail providers. Please give it a go.

You may download it by viewing the instructions here:
http://www.prevoy.com/content/download/

The older versions haven't been tested with the new server so please upgrade if you're already using the application.

Thanks!

PS. Dr. praktikb - rediff webmail is not supported. You have to use pop3 or one of the list of supported email domains. Thanks.

ardt77 - Thank you for your kind remarks. Not sure when I will release it commercially. I will give beta testers a special deal for testing and completing a quick survey on their experience. Based on your experience and value and considering what other value added services cost, what would you be prepared to pay for this service? I appreciate your frank opinion.

Fantastic! Please continue to use freely, and provide any recommendations for improving the service. I would really appreciate your opinion on pricing. Considering that this is a service, and taking into consideration what you pay for other value added services like voicemail etc. - what do you think would be a reasonable price for this service.

As mentioned in previous posts I will be giving a special offer to all beta testers who complete a brief survey. But for now the beta will remain open. Please encourage your friends and associates to join in the beta.

Thanks again!

Hmm. Well free is best But if I had to pay and thinking about what similar services cost I'd say that $30 a year is about right for this service.

Thank you for your feedback. I am looking at all the other value added services that people pay for (some of which are not that valuable but people insist on paying $x.xx per month for...) and seeing where this service could best be positioned.

Arez - Thank you for your participation. You are one of a couple of people that viewing attachments would be a nice feature. To be frank the vast majority simply want a highly effecient email application and do not have the attachment requirements.

Attachements are a challenge because mobile phones do not have required software to view the specific file type. However, can forward the attachment with this application and you can view images. In fact, the image will be rendered to the specific screen of your handset to maximize its presentation.

Please encourage your friend and associates to join the Beta. I will be keeping the Beta open for the rest of June, and will be giving those Beta testers that complete a brief survey a special offer (it will be good) on the service.
