Hello !
i have yahoo account in my friends! nice program but is toooooo slow to receive any message from my chat friends.
This is the configuration from YAMIGO:
In the SonyEricsson phones, the IM Client configuration resides under the My Friends application on the mobile phone, under the menu option More/Accounts.
The configuration settings you need to enter are:
Username - This setting should contain the name of the user account obtained from the Yamigo Server.
Domain - This setting should be left blank or you can enter yamigo.com (any other domain will be rejected at login).
Password - This setting should contain the password of the user account defined on the Yamigo Server.
Server - http://yamigo.com/wv/control
Internet Profile - This setting points to an existing internet profile configured on the mobile phone. Use an appropriate profile that will facilitate connectivity to the HTTP URL of the Yamigo IMPS Server.
Allow Connection - This setting allows you to specify whether the IM Client can be used when connected to any network, or if it should only be used when connected to your home network operator. Specify Home Network in most cases to avoid unexpected, and often exorbitant, data roaming charges.
Some SonyEricsson phones will have additional settings, such as Check Interval which specifies an interval in seconds for polling the IMP Server. Please refer to the documentation for your mobile phone for more information.
any tips or tricks ......for more speed in receive messages.
Thanks

I don't really mind there being a slight delay in the replies you get. At least it is free. Having all you regular MSN and Yahoo contacts there when you are travelling or out and about is cool.

Getting to know the yamigo.com site is also a good thing.
Make sure the updates are taken note of and all should be fine. |

so how come some K750i's come with 'My Friends' and others with 'Call Voicemail' ??? That bites!!.. i think i would prefer the 'My Friends' option....
Does any know how to get this option to replace 'Call Voicemail'. (firmware??)..
Second, how could i use Yahoo messenger or MSN on the K750i w/o having the 'My Friends' feature.. ?? |

I am sure only unbranded phones have the My Friends option. There are other Java Apps that support IM. eMSN being one. I think it can be found on Tagtag.com.
