It's real I just done the mod myself to my Sony EX71's...
Man I am going to wow the lads even more in class in the morning!
Easy when you know how...
I must add that I was very nervous cutting up my £30 pair of earbuds but it's well worth it, the sound quality is amazing as usual and the EX71's bloack out lotf of noise too. Handsfree calling via EX71's is ace!

Does the handsfree still work?
Will there be an adapter later on, which you can use. Aswell as that will the handsfree still work while the adapter is in use? |

Well, everything still works, radio, handsfree, all fine! And a top notch sound for listening to music
