Weird! Try reading page 43 in the whitepaper at http://developer.sonyericsson[....]ls/phonespecs/p_phonespecs.jsp

Quote:

Text formatting
•Centred, left and right aligned text.
•Small, normal and large font size.
•Bold, italic, underlined and strikethrough style.

But nothing about text formatting in the manual

It mentions those formatting options for EMS... Any we all know the k750i has EMS support... So how can we make text size smaller?

Ive tried all the options...

Also, I can mark (highlight) text when writing a msg but how do i copy/cut and paste?

Any ideas?
Thanks

WELL - with one eye on the tele and the other on the phone - have figured out how to do it!
You have to use "picture message" and NOT "text message" option. When in "picture message" select "add" and then "text" and then "OK" - this takes you back to the white screen - which you can change colour if you wish by selecting "more" and then "background"
To change the text size and colour press upwards lightly on the joystick and the text is then enclosed by a box - then select "text" for further options!

Well it isn't there.. if it was we would have found it by now. I am pretty sure they will include this option in new firmware.

Etaab, still not quite remember where yet then ?

Perhaps you were mistaken... no offence! I'm beginning to suspect this option doesn't exist. The combined wisdom of the esato board doesn't seem able to provide the answer of how to change the fontsize when writing an SMS. Which is a shame, as the default one is way too big for my taste.

Cheers,
David

Sure its possible, but i dont write MMS messages much so i dont think it was.

Ive been looking through my phone tonight to try to find it, but its just not there.

Ive also noticed something else. In the manual it says you're able to check the delivery status of a message, yet on my K750i that option is missing.

yeah its on my unbranded K750 too and its possible the currently inserted sim card is affecting the availability of the option but this is getting off topic guys.

we're seriously trying to figure out this text formatting and additionally cut and paste stuff though it seems to be going around in circles
