I used
2005-05-29 V800i_to_z800i-R1AB013_Decustomization
TMS doesn't have an EROM recovery.
Is there a EROM for CID36? |

Try finishing up with Davinci. A friend of mine had teh same problem today and he finalized his phone suc6fully with davinci.

Did you have a V800/V802 or a Z800i mate!
I know they are the same, but apperantly all Z800i`s are CID 36 |

I have (had) a brand new V800. Real CID36.
DaVinci wouldn't help. Don't accept CID36. And I talked to DaVinci team, they have no solution for CID36 and are focusing on K750i for the moment.
Camera flash is on, phone is dead.

Man, i tell you already. Phone is not dead, EROM is erased and recovery certificate is left in phone!
Flash With Recovery File,
DEL_RecoveryDB2010_000000_0000_000{0102030301}.cry
SED_RecoveryDB2000_000000_0000_000{0102020302}.cry
These are EROM files (i forget which colour is which)
So find, in setool, davinci, TMS and flash.
All must be ok

Where can I find those files?
I have access to TMS, Davinci, SETool (com) and I can't find them.
.cry indicates that it should be SETool but I only find v800EROM_RED_CID29.SSW.cry witch ofcourse don't work.
I don't have SETool standalone. will it work anyway?

Dont flash that one, but the one in the sticky thread. There must be a file though, or a recovery option in the client, there has to be.

if the battery dies in the middle of the flash. is it still possible to charge it in the phone?
the charging light is red. but TMS says it can't be charged in the phone. |

i had a v802 w/ cid36.. flashed w/ davinci.. like yours, phone wont turn on, flash is ON, found somebody who uses setool standalone and flash w/ r1x twice.
now the phone is ok BUT the phone has "no name"

If you have had a failure in the upgrade and the móbile it is "dead", the v800 doesn't charge the battery correctly. For some reason the v800 doesn't charge the battery completely, I have checked with a multimeter the battery and it accused 1 volt less than the normal one, and the load is never complete. The solution is another full battery or to make the load directly in the battery. |
