or you can use cdex (google it), its an open source convertor which i use regularly, also handles changing the bitrates on mp3's very well, as a lot of my legal mp3's are 256 or 192.

its also a small file, pretty easy to use.

edit: dont "think" it handles wma tho, but then wma is crap for DRM so I avoid it.

@kozicka, I was going to suggest that too as that's what I also use, but it doesn't support mp4 (aac) AFAIK. Do you know if there is an available plug-in or patch that makes it support mp4?
resistance is futile.

You should in any case try different options out to check the sound quality of the result. There is a lot of room for personal preferences. Some people find 128 more than good enough, others say you can hear a difference with 192. Some say converting wma to mp3 or aac is fine, others complain about sound quality.

Better not be sorry afterwards, in either way (converted and not satisfied with result, or re-ripped and wasted time because converting would have been just as good).

Hi, a quick search as I am at work reveals this thread:
http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/boards/index.php?act=ST&f=14&t=1059

It looks possible, or if not, there are a couple of apps on that page that should do it.
