im sure there better camera phones in japan !!!
but when talkin bout european market RIGHT NOW the k750 does take the BEST PICS. there are numerous review to prove that... if u cant accept them then ur probably blind !!! |

Hey, come on guys, he is entitled to his opinion. If he thinks the N90 takes the better pictures so be it. We may not agree with him, or even think hes kidding himself, but we dont need to say any more about it.
I think when Mario refers to the N90 as a video phone, he means you can literally use it as a camcorder and not a 3G video phone.
Sure, with a higher resolution than the K750i's QCIF it would be a step closer to being a camcorder. However, since it does not have a hard drive like the N91 and relies on MMC cards it doesnt really give the N90 any advantage over any other phone unless you use a massive capacity mmc card because the memory would be used up too quickly.
The K700i encodes at about 500kb/minute in QCIF, probably more with the K750i, so the N90 would encode much higher.
I can see Mario's point, but i find it rather flawed if the N90 has no hard drive.

You donīt need to be a SE camera to see k750 is the best camera phone from SE so far, and it doesnīt get beat by n90 either...you just need to have eyes and look to the k750 photos thread
A little of knowledge about photography helps too...
Now, mario, isnīt it curious having a 300-400 euros phone without hyped CZ lens, costing 1/2 n90īs price, weighting 1/2 of n90īs, and having almost same photo quality of n90??? So tell, wereīs the value for money??? In the brick??? lol

let me start with u etaab for example... Hard drive in a phone ???
totally wrong.. at least for now.
first the hard drives are too sensitive for a phone, and too large, and too expensive etc etc...
second... mario is just a victim of marketing.....just because they made the N90 look like a camcorder !!!! but in reality, its pathetic at recording video, its Huge and really expensive !!! with that money u can get a small phone plus a small camcorder which do the job 100 times better !!!!
thirdly: geyser... ill stick to the same, get a life its really pathetic
and finally, no the S700 is not better at taking pics than the k750 !!

1. The N90 is a smartphone
2. It can be used as a camcorder

its just nokia takin advantage of ppl like mario who have little knowledge and make them pay so much money for a phone that should cost half the price and be half the size !!!
but the CZ lens was a good idea, its what 'allows' them to price the phone so high, even though its not worth it....

it was really my opinion on seeing the pics taken from mobile-review.com that the N90 has better cam than K750i. If the K750i had the carl zeiss lens then it would have an advantage over nokia. Of course, k750i gives us more value for our money considering the huge gap of the price between these phones. so we cant really compare them inch by inch by each other.. for me, s700i's cam is still the best 'till now... |

taz, nokia isnt forcing u to buy a their phones if u cant afford to own one...hehehe. Really both phones has its own cons and pros so its up to the consumers on to where their budget and taste of style goes... |

So, the people they showed the pictures to preferred the K750i, but they didnt know which phone took which photo..
" The second group with the same number of the participants had the same task but the photos were signed up from the beginning. And an interesting effect was also observed here - up to 80 percent of the people chose the photos by the N90 as the best. This choice was mainly based on the brand name and less on the quality of the print. The research carried out shows not only objective information but a manufacturer's image formed by the ads and marketing really affects out choice. "
So, when they knew which phone took which picture, the majority of people chose the N90.
Unsuprising and predictable that people will always believe Nokia produce the better results because of their better position in the phone market.
Personally, of the pictures taken with the N90 on mobile-review.com, i am still unimpressed. They're rather poor IMO compared to the K750i and even S700i.
