S series versus K series Any S series die hards? |

i am currently using a T630 and its goin to be 1 year for it on 25 May 2005. its working great but the joy stick does not respond when i press it towards down or to the right. goin to take it to the dealers, lets see whats the soultion.
but i am not goin to upgread to a K but go for an S700i 
and ride with it for a while
they say its big they say its bad
but its beautiful to meeee 
OH ya i had that lovely T39 and i sold it to a buddy of mine with the orignal ericsson leather case.............ohhh why did i do such a think lol
i am still on the look out for an old t39 or t600 two of my favourate ericssons

All I have heard so far is that the code name is Ellen and that it will be an evolution of the current S and will also take on the look of a gaming console. (More info on www.se-nse.com)

Well i've been using s700i since November, and i am pretty happy with it just after the firmware upgrade. K750 looks impressive, only for 2mp and autofocus capabilities. Still, the camera is CMOS, as opposed to CCD in S700i. I cannot decide before i see some satisfactory picture samples.
On the other hand, S700i has to 240x320 pixel screen where k750i has only 176x220. Compared to camera and memstick pro advantages, i would never give up my s700i for a smaller screen. So, i would wait for the next S series... |

I agree with the beauty of the big screen and resolution. After all the lens on the S series is a better lens and were talking about 0.7 MP difference.
I do alot of waping and the screen on my S710 is a comfort to my eyes. reading news and fun stuff on the S series is awesome.
The picture quality is great. I'm interested in seeing pics from the K750.
Who knows... I may buy the K750 to test for my self. I strongly doubt that I will give up my S710.
How can you not love the S series? It's unique phone.

The next release of the S series should HAVE at LEAST - 3 MP cam to beat the hell out of the K750i's - 2 MP !

Any increase over 2MP in any cameraphone is getting towards Digital Camera territory and it wil simply have to have AF, USB, flash and a large view-finder. It will seriously eat into sales of the cheaper digicams.
It will be simply amazing if the S replacement can have all these and manage to retain its unique Digital Camera look (which I think is essential). With Duo Pro support it will be excellent.
I am dying to know what  have up their sleeve. I will go crackers if I don't find out soon. |

Actually, SEMC is exibiting at CommunicAsia 2005 which is being held in Singapore.
This is a Telecommunications Exhibition which is taking place from 14th - 17th June and SE has announced new handsets at this event before.
Last years was cancelled because of the SARS Virus outbreak and maybe, just maybe will announce some cool hardware for us to size up.
It will need to get these handsets out ASAP if it want to keep up. |

You never know.... This may be in the works.... Just on that throught,
Please, Please some one with a bit of info.... ( leak... leak... hint... hint... ) throw a little teaser information for S series lovers to salivate with. I know there has to be some out there with legitimate info.
