@coast - H m m m . . . yup, now I got it. So, this method is NOT being put in practice MORE often compared to bluejacking thing . . . But if it does, my, what a 'disaster' it can make What if the one stolen from you are very pertinent datas, say, your bank acct. #, Social Security # et al . . . [addsig]

@jn, that could happen too. thats the bad part about all this. i dont keep info like this is my phone, just for this reason. It would be kinda cool (but wrong) to be able to get peoples ringtones ya know? lol but the personal info wouldnt be to good!

@star - Yup, the worst matter of this new BT 'practice' is that, yes, it can steal - ringtones, that's one. I do remember in the past that I recorded a song (to the tune of Nelly's - My Place), wherein I changed the 'lyrics' to some personal infos of mine say, My: passwords/vault combinations/monthly itineraries/daily routes/atm account #/ PIN codes etc and used it in my fone as my primary - call ringtone. But of course, the 'tune' was not identical to - Nelly! [addsig]

@jn its a good thing noone bluesnarfed you! Im not 100% sure, but i believe they can actually delete things from ur phone too... imagine how bad that could be... you needed to remember something important, so you put it in your phone... then its gone... that could be horriable. but im not sure if they can do that, i forgot
