Is it worth to change my S700i with K750i? |

I think its definitely worth the upgrade - the K750i has everything the S700i has but for less money.
It would be a cheap upgrade if you're waiting for the S800i.

For gods sake keep hold of your S700 and get a K750. The K7 will take better pics thats for sure but it will never beat the S700 on style.
The S700i is such a cool looking gadget and it does have a wow factor that other phones just can't match no matter what they are and it is highly desirable just for its design and individuality.
But the new kid on the block (K750i) does beat it hands down for functionality, so do try and keep hold of both.
The K750i, although tech-laden, masks its wizardry with its undersated 'Plain Jane' styling but it will definitely be a winner.
I am even starting to lean towards it and . . . . . . no I must keep to K600, K600, K600, K600.............

I have both K and S 700's and will definitely be upgrading my K700 for the 750...if i only had the S i am not sure whether i would or not...i kind of like having smaller phones and the S is a little chunky at times |

Lots of people call the S700 'Chunky' but I think the whole point of the S700i is for it not to be the smallest phone but for it too look as much like a digicamera as it can, hence when turned on its side it looks just like a cybershot. And Cybershots aint small.
I know what you mean. If I didn't have the S then I would definitely think of upgrading to Klara, heck it is certainly worth having no matter what.

If you can afford both then why not, I could get it around the end of June as my K700 contract is up but I might wait until Autumn when they are bound to have released the next S series phone and get that then sell my S700.
SE need to say when the next S series phone will be available, if it is next year then I will get a K750 and save for the next S series but if the S series comes this year then its the S series for me all the way! |

It would drive me mad if I waited for the next phone to come out all the time. The next S should be mind blowing but I aint gonna wait around for it. I am too impatient and impulsive.

If it comes out the same time as it did last year (Autumn) I can wait, but not 6 months, that's be too long a wait! |

I think the S700 was announce about this time last year and it was finally released in October. They take to long to release phones. I think the next S will be a reworked W21S. |

| Anyone (like me) with an S700 should not swap for the K750. I am a very big fan of the K700 and I also still have that as it was my phone before the S700. The S700 is simply so much more stylish and the screen is fantastic. The 262k screen on the K750 still won't match the S700 and the difference from the K700 wont be huge as the resolution is still the same. |
|
you may be right. that's what i think, too.
however, doesn't K750i display seem brighter than S700i?

You would be best waiting for around September time, I think SE will announce the next S series phone. The events of this year are similar to last year. First the K700 was announced then after its release SE pulled a blinder and announced the S700. I hated them for that, I got the K700 then wanted the S700. |
|
you're right. alike last year, i bought K700i before buying S700i.. i think last year is quite worthy to buy both phone in order. but, this year is a bit different because i have S700i at the moment. last year i changed my T630 to K700i.

It will be worth the wait for the next S series phone, the only thing the K750 has to its advantage is the Duo Pro support but unless you take a huge ammount of pictures or listen to lots of MP3's you'll never use the higher capacity memory sticks. You could argue about the 2MP camera but both 1.3 and 2MP are quite comparable. I know my iPAQ camera will stand against the K750, I've seen 2MP Sony Digital Camera's, they aint that special!!!
|
|
personally, i don't like the ideas of using 2mpx CMOS camera. the colors that CMOS camera produces don't seem to really pop up.

The camera being CCD doesnt give the s700 an advantage as the k750 takes nicer pictures! |
|
in what way?
the colors seems more pop-up in S700i photos..

| I'd take the k750 if i were you! Most important factor being the memory! My opinion! |
|
actually, guys, the only important factor to me is the screen.. i really don't care about anything else, it's all about the screen to me. i know that K750i has brighter screen than S700i, buat S700i's screen is just perfect.. it's huge resolution. do you guys think that K750i's screen will overlap S700i's screen?
