I actually asked about the 4096 question, but all i got was a lot of non-commital mumbeling.

MY guess is that we will be able to at a cost upgrade SW/HW to 4096.

This is JUST A GUESS though.

WHAT IF the current LCD can actuallly display 4096 colors and is just being limited by the firmware? Just speculating. :-)

to the guy who asked about cost of upgrade at carphone warehouse...it dont cost nothing m8...its free

it took me 10 days to get my T68 upgraded to T68i, but i noticed sum of u guys making reference to ur sp doing the upgrade? afaik here in the uk, upgrades are done by the carphone warehouse (an authorized retail outlet) or by sonyericsson themselves?

also if the latest software version is R2F004, how comes mine got upgraded 7 days ago and its version R2E006?

however, how i wish, would have released p800 and i could have used p800..

cause the servicepoint doing the upgrade on your phone hasn't downloaded the new version. It's actually possible to download both R2E and R2F from EMMA (the firmware server, only open for servicepoints) so they might have not noticed they new version. But the R2F contains only some country and operator specific changes, this is why has not removed the R2E version from the server
