Apparrently this will be available exclusively to T-Mobile for one month.

"With this new handset comes a worrying trend, T-Mobile in the UK have the exclusive on this handset when it’s released in a few weeks time, but only for a month, after which, Vodafone and 02 will start to have the handset available to their contract customers."

Well in your article they talk about the D750 which is indeed an exclusive for T-Mobile, but in countries without T-Mobile networks I don't think it will change anything

The article is saying that T-Mobile customers in the UK will have the D/K750 phone one month before anyone else!!

Nah, they'll have the D750.

The K750i will be available for everyone. Ignore that website, they dont seem to have the full facts.

I've seen prices of 4000SEK (NZ$767)
and 299 GB Pounds (NZ$771) here on esato

I wonder why the K750i has been officially announced here in NZ at NZ$899? Could VodafoneNZ be ripping Kiwi's off?

If its Vodaphone, then YES - they rip everyone off.

Buy the phone unbranded or get it from another network, even if it means losing out on a free upgrade it would be worth it IMO.

Who needs Vodaphone branding ? not i !

They are pretty much the same phone, they just have different shells.

The D750 is basically a K750i thats branded to T-mobile.

Id bet money that the D750 is inferior, because usually T-mobile do not supply the original sized memory cards that come with phones. For example, my friend bought a Nokia 6630 from T-mobile. The phone was meant to come with a 64mb RSMMC, yet from T-mobile it only came with a 16mb RSMMC.

There are 2 GSM networks in NZ Vodafone and TelstraClear which is vodafone in disguise. Fortunatly there is now some price competition on handsets thanks to direct importers but none of them are showing the K750 or W800 yet. I think they get thier stock from Europe anyway!

k750 could be available here in end of may or early june. but, is k750 really that good? does it worth every penny that SE is going to charge its customers? SE probably retail it here at RM2,250. Just a guess.
