Well there should be, the silver one for vodafone isn't vodafone specific:
Here is an unbranded silver version

One thing that shocked me about the K750i was how small it was!

I dont mind the Vodafraud badge on the front, its the menu id worry about.
Would it be the standard SE interface and menu but with a Vodaphone live icon ? or a complete rehash of the phones interface like the GX30 ?

The V800 menu isn't bad, it's just the icons and the little vodafone live startups.

Yes, i liked the V800, it wasnt bad at all.
But have you seen some of the Vodaphone branded T610s and K700is ?
Some of them have terrible branding. Orange as just as bad too - my friend cannot use MP3s, shortcuts and send ringtones from his Orange branded K700i.

Yep, but remember you only pay 129.99 for an orange branded K700i and i am sure the 70 quid you have saved from the handset only official price you could easily get it unbranded and unlocked!

Not if you're an ignoramus like my friend.
He has no idea how to do that. In fact, he wont even allow his Bluetooth to be left on, hes worried i'll send him viruses and encrypt his files.

hey davo, like the diagrams mate on the othere thread...
I Wish they didnt bother branding it at all!
Just say you bought a car, and you fill it up at BP all the time, i'm sure you wouldnt want BP logo's all over it and limited to BP radio and 2nd and 4th gear only
|
|
If BP sells you the car with a discount of aproximatly 50%, you would have to put up with it!!, and the only thing that vodafone limit on its branded phones is the mp3 tones....
I dont know why everybody complains so much, if you dont want your phone "tampered with" by vodafone, pay double and get it simfree and with all the original firmware.

Why?
Three simple reasons. The startup menus are terrible, the menus can sometimes be slower, the menu layout can sometimes be even worse, useful shortcuts and functions can be disabled, colours that you dont like can overrun your phone, the 'more' function is disabled so turning on connections is much more of a hassle.
I could go on

Anyway, this branding may not be as bad as orange
