Itīs a good site I visit it every day! But I wonder how Kallingen (funny name if you know what it means in swedish) knows about that it will be a 4096colour screen on the Nokia colour phone. |

hehe... yes, I Know that couse I am a good friend with a guy that works on Nokia.. Nokia Wants to be a bit worse then Ericsson and just produce 4096color screens for their mobile phones couse itīs better quality (of course), and I donīt know why ericsson put a 256 color screen in T68 when the 4096color screen is the same, same size, same weight, but i could be a couple of dollars more expensive, but who cares?? =)

Here youīve got 2 links that shows that Nokia 7650 and Nokia 9210 has 4096 colorscreens. But I have no evidence that "8310 Color Version" has it, but I Know anyway =)

Do you know anything about how it will look? Bigger than the 8310? Will it include MMS? Maybe do you know anything else that you want to share with us?
In Japan  has come out with a phone that has 65536 colours so should be good at colour screens. Maybe next SonyEricsson phone in Europe will have 65536 colours, and Nokia will get hot in there clothes. |

Yes, SonyEricsson will come out with 65536Color Screens couse Sony Is making them for SonyEricsson...
SonyEricsson will put their money from now on, on 65536color screens couse they have money and they now knows that people want it, and itīs needed, the features must go on and itīs getting more advanced...
8310 what Iīve heard will be the same size but more expensive and i donīt think it would have MMS, it isnīt a Thechlogy-Phone, itīs a Design-Phone made for women

Yes the 8310 is a design phone. But it sells good because itīs a Nokia and jung people think that is hot (jung and stupid).
Ordinary people have noticed the T68 becuse of the colour screen not for the tecnology. Beacuse they donīt know any thing about it.
And if the 8310 will have a colour screen the t68 will be uninteresting for ordinary people just because Nokia is more hot for the jung.
Then have to get out to the market and tell everybody that the T68 has all things that you ever dreamed of (MMS, photoalbum, camera as option etc) because ordinay people doesnīt know a shit about this. |

ur totally right. the only reason why people buy nokia is because of that personaliseation shit, which ericsson now has. |

Nokia has new covers and other shit like that, and the popular Snake, and people bought Nokia a time ago (5110, 3110, 2110) and they liked it on that time, so they continued to buy Nokia jus couse of that!
Ordinary people recognize T68 on the Colorscreen but us, TechnologyFreaks notice that it only has 256color screen but itīs enough right now, but in the future, this spring, both Nokia And SonyEricsson will present their 3G-phones that will be available Autumn 2002/Winter 2003 (you could not might call with them yet!) and then T68īs 256color display will be the Ordinary peoples Phone couse itīs just enough for them and their needs with MMS (I think it would replace SMS).
So, SonyEricsson - Keep on working to take the ordinarys people mind of Nokia!!

anyway , thanx all for respondeing , and the only answer i could find now , that all this is a romour , ppl say its true but with no proof...
at least thats what i hope for now , cuz i want to enjoy my phone for long time. cuz i dont have enough money to buy a new mobile every 6 months:) |

You don't have to buy a phone every 6 months. My last phone (a Nokia 6150) was almost 3 years old before I decided to get a T39m.
Bottomline:Am I still getting the functions that I need from this phone?
