If it doesn't work:

1. you go to wap.sonyericsson.com
2. login (sign up if you are not already registered)
3. Under Ericsson-software you choose HPM-10
4. the above link will now appear

Just buy a new card reader. preferably usb. as its only about £20 and its shit loads faster than the parrallel one!

You are right it is slow. Especial when it is detecting the card.

But I got the player cheap and don’t want to spend the same amount on an additional reader/writer.

The enclosed reader/writer get the job done and I can live with the speed as long as it only 32MB. However, I would reconsider if I had a 128MB-card or other gadgets using flash-ram.

can you tell me where can I download the hpm-10 software because I have lost the cd and I can only find "Driver for the Parallel port MultiMedia Card Reader" at ericcson site.This works ok on my computer.But I need the program that I can transfer my Mp3 files to the multimedia card.Thanks for your help

What do you mean??? Use the Explorer!! Just drag & drop the files to the drive! You need no special program.
