Think you will find if the finished product is brushed aluminium it will not really scratch easily.
And who is to say it wont come in different textures eg steel, aluminium etc etc ala Vertu??????

I have always held nok8xxx in high respect. Especially the 8850 and 8910 was a killer at its time.

As nokia has a habit of reproducing similar looking models with few upgrades, i think an 8890 with camera and a high resolution colour display would have been better than this crap

Well Magnesium Alloy would be good. as that doesnt scratch and is strong. Looks nice too.

For once i agree with the people who usually say: "If this was a SE youīd go ga-ga over it"
I think it would be a worthy successor to 8910!
If the case is stainless steel, it will be, 1/ Rather scratch proof and 2/ possible to sand out fine scratches with super fine emery cloth.
Screw the poxy sub-standard camera! A phone like this doesnīt need a camera in the first place IMO. Itīs not meant as the pinnacle of Victorinox phones anyhow!
Consider this also: What Nokia phones are remembered and respected most? I tell you itīs not the feature-packed ones, but rather the timeless 8***īs

Looks like it has the same screen as the 6230i, 208 x 208 pixels.
From Nokias to an SE to whatever. |

Well I must say I don't like nokia's designs. This is one of those phonrs that I don't really like but atleast you couldn't classify it as ugly, no matter how much you hate nokia. I think I like the 6680 better and also the 7610 isn't bad in my eyes. I wouldn't buy this phone, looks aren't my top priority but for some people I guess this is going to be just right. Actually they should've upgraded the 8910i IMHO I think it looked better. |

Top part with the ear piece, looks very much like the K700i!
just something I noticed very quickly!
Looks okay, I like the screen positioning etc, but I must admit, the 'lens' looks very tacky, whereas the rest of it looks really good!
