newly announced software fix for all nokias.
When the bomb detonator profile is selected, a bug found in previous software releases to cause the phone not to trigger an explosion has been fixed.
Phones should now cause detonations where previously failed.
* Note: explosion may invalidate your warranty.

It means Nokia phones are so advanced that they have developed complex AI systems that makes them weigh a command and decide whether to abide or not. That phone is probably still trying to decide whether to follow the command or not.

The only Nokia I had the misfortune of using - a company supplied 6210 kept switching itself off. Maybe that happened here?
Maybe Nokia are popular with bombers because no-one cares about sacrificing a Nokia - S/E are to precious to incinerate! |
