a thin phone is nice. so was the razer, but only on looks.
what bothers me most about the upcomming phones is the lauch date.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

@bart. SE really should ensure all are on the shelves before Christmas, if it wants to boost market share.
Music phones will be part of this but will take 2 to 3 years to really take hold IMO, just like cameraphones.

I really dont like the idea of music phones. I say they go full fledge to improve the cameras. Id rather see atleast a 3mp camera then a so called "MP3" Phone.

i think music phones will take hold much faster then cam phones did.
cams are hardware, better ones need to be made, build in flash, improved quality. while music already excists. mp-3 can be found in most phones today. SE will make sure there is more memory in the phones, and have links to places where you can download new ones. also on TV we see commericials where you can download music (crazy frog is the latest hot tune), and in alot of magazins there's always an add or 2 where you can download music, logo's and sometimes also games.
thats why i think music will take hold much faster.
sales during X-mas are big, but that doesn't mean sales during the year should be given less attention. what good is one strong Q while the others are less or bad?

There is more revenue to be made by the operators in Music phones. So I agree with you there.
I think the earlier before Christmas they are established the better.
@Sutitan. I don't think there is much more to do with plain camphones, unless they start developing the digicam side.
