Doesn't the 6630 sort of look like a penis? Seriously. If you put a condom on it, and made a bunch of continuous calls, it could be a lonely woman's dream.

Actually Nokia was known for making rubber boots and toilet paper in the beginning.

@hadiq, that's because not everybody checks out the product before buying. Some just has to get the latest gadget in the market even though it is just an old model made to look like the manufacturer spent a million dollars in the last few weeks developing it.

@Solidsingh

They are still two companies. They only combined for the purposes of selling mobile phones. Sony's phones were crap, but they have quite a bit of $ muscle behind them. Ericsson has always made great phones technically, but it seemed that marketing was no where in their vocabulary. What do you get when you combine a great consumer product manufacturer and a great telephone company? Hopefully some really cool consumer telephones. However this did not initially happen, but it seems that SE is beginning to hit their stride.

I do not think they will ever lead in terms of market share. The markets are too fragmented and saturated. Also, the turn around time for R&D is not as long as it used to be. Samsung, Moto-crap-ola, and others will quickly adapt and adopt. SE will however gain a larger percentage of market share. Nokia knows that its days as the seller of re-packaged phones are over.
