The d500 won best phone because its...the best phone. Its not 3g, its not "smart", its simply a phone. v800 isnt in the same category becuse its 3g, p910 isnt in the same catergory because its "smart", the d500 is in the "average, basic phone" category and its won because its the best at being a run-of-the-mill phone.

When I made my previous post, the P910 was named as the 3GSM category winner on the official site.

One would presume an organization like that doesn't just make typos, you could mistype a letter, but miss by a phone... Only human... I guess... Next year when they announce the winners, we should all mail them: "Are you sure this time?"

Ok.Now that we know who the winners are, did SE announce any new models to go on sales shortly ? I know Nokia did. (6680 is one of them)

Yeah, they made the mistake there in their 3GSM web page and the it was found by Rifqi_Aziz. The page should have been updated in some hours after that.
