thanks jas for a great tip!! it cut down the size of my pics to just 3k. may i just add that you can use the the "sharpen" filter in photoshop to further improve the picture quality and it didn't add too much to the file size. |

file > save for web.
dramatic decrease in file size without much noticeable difference from the orig pic. that is, in small pics.

sacrifice the file size...leave it as jpg...quality is better |
