I see there are some questions about my post. I'll try and explain.

I don't work for , but I do test phones at work.
The release is still for internal use only, or beta if you wish.
It is not complete, but after playing with the new software for a couple of days, it's pretty clear that are soon done. Some bugs still to fix.
I use it on a store bought phone, but we have trial phones as well, and they're the same hw revision.

This phone simply kicks butt!:D

Is SMS typing (T9) faster ?

I would prefer fast SMS typing insted of MMS...

You bet! I hadn't thought muh of it, but I tried it just now, and by typing messages, I could not get it to go slow on me. Also, I tried just pressing random buttons, still no T9 hick-ups.
Still the menus piss me off. Too slow.

Cheers!

Hi luguoff,

In your report about the new MMS software you wrote about the music composer:

>new music composer (where you also can add >special effects; turning leds on/off, >backlight on/off buzzer on/off, set volume >etc

Is there also a better possibility to control the duration of a note? Right now there are only four different tone lengths (for instance, c c. C C.) which sadly limits the possibilities to produce good songs (I think Nokia has at least six). What about the new MMS software?

One cool new feature on the games on the new software. (MMS prototype software)

At the highscoremenu, there is a new option
"Send highscore"

And if you select it it starts to connect to a wapsite..

Thats Awesome!! competing with everyone that has a T68!!

And to clarify one thing!!

THE MMS SOFTWARE WILL BE AVAILIBLE TO ALL T68´s! NO HARDWARE CHANGE!!!

My T68 had the "send highscore" since I got it, so thats not a new feature.

do you guys mean that these are just software upgrades to the T68 or also the hardware(the phone itself) will be upgraded??? if this is the case, does it mean that current owners of t68s cannot upgrade to the new software/features?

Only SW upgrade. The HW is the same.

There exist a newer version of the HW, but that is only to fix small details like the rattling volume button. The processors (there are several processors in these phones, a signal processors as well as ther ones), the screen etc are the same.
