Hi guys,
Please refer also to SMSTM.com for SMS services. They can give you for sure some advices about sms services such as content (logos, ringtones), reverse billing, ICE, etc.
Also try www.envialo.co.cr

Saludos a todos desde Costa Rica, tengo una pequeña duda para estrenarme en el foro:
¿se puede utilizar el software eMSN en mi T610 con la coneccion que ofrece el ICE?
¿Can I use the software eMSN in my T610 with the service that ICE provides?
Gracias+Saludos |

While ICE is in the testing phase of what they are going to provide for internet access through their GPRS the service is free but they have blocked alot of the sites people would like to use like messenger and free email accounts.
If anyone knows how or is willing to host mirror sites on their server let me know |

Saludos. Alguien me da una mano con el setup del w800 para internet ? No he podido activar el servicio a pesar de que creo seguir las instrucciones del ICE (que son las del K700), vengo de un P800 y no fue tan enredado.
Gracias. |

There are no pay as you go plans, but lots of people have lines. And if you are lucky you might find someone with a line you could rent from them. Make sure you have a World GSM phone that takes a SIM chip and it is unlocked. If it is still tied to a phone account in another country call the service provider and find out if you can use it in Costa Rica. My account from Canada is about $.50 a minute only for outgoing calls. There are lots of pay phones and they are cheap. I am not sure what the minimum is now but before you could call and listen if someone answered for 5 colones(about $.01) and then add more money if you wanted to talk. Many of the pay phones use a prepaid phone card which is about $1, international is very expensive on these cards so get a Skype account before you come and you should be able to use it at the internet cafes. Internet cafes are around $1-2 per hour depending on where you go. Much more in big hotels |
