There are a number of theme editors out there on the net.
How can you claim this one was stolen from you? |

what a claim... i wonder if christersson will say, you copied his, but re-organized it. and if i make my own, you will say i copied yours? i have been using christersson's as a "theme viewer". what is your basis for your claim that laffen copied your "theme viewer?" do you have a copyright on "presenting a sony ericsson theme on screen"?
i thought long and hard if will post this, but i think i should. why would anybody be threatened by all the coming theme editors/viewers/whatever out there? oh well, just my opinion. |

Why say this on the forum.
It would have been better, initially, to contact Esato moderators by mail or Private Message stating your grievance.
Give them the opportunity to add a credit on the Theme creator and, if they didn't, then put it on the board.
I'm not defending anyone here, its just I feel you may get flame grilled if your claim is proved false. |

@ laffen: I’m sorry that I wrote this on forum! Please take my apology if that what I wrote is not true!!!
@arnoldc: chrissterson’s "Themes Creator" has NOTHING to do with my "Theme Creator & Browser". And NO I don’t have a copyright on "presenting a sony ericsson theme on screen", but I HAVE a copyright on TC&B. |

How can you have a copyright on browsing themes? Are not all of our programs freeware so that everyone can use them? Should I start to say that I have copyright on making themes (My application has been working for almost 1 year now). I have seen a lot of other nice application for mobile phones since I started to make my program available for all SE users.
Because of this I will add a browsing function to my program, a very nice function.

I've made some progress since last post to this thread. Expect the theme editor to be online within a week.

congratulations laffen for another job well done.
i really think the most important part of a theme editor is a ready-made 256-color T68 palette from which the user chooses the colors. |

It saves it as a zip file, and asks what program to run it with...
Any suggestions...? |

conman--> I think you mean the theme editor program itself. Just download the file and open it with winzip or any zip program that you have installed. There should be a setup.exe file. Double click that and you're on your way. |
