what size vids are you trying to play i dont mean file sizes i mean resolution as in if the vids are encoded bigger than the screen dimensions ie 208*176 then they wont play, the vids have to encoded to the same size or smaller to work or at least thats the case on s60 phones |

Most phones support max video res of 176*144 independent of scrren res. Even the k5 has a 128*160 res. screen and it plays 176*144 videos comfortably but the 7600 is a blokia+a s40 at that too so only god knows wat its capable(or not capable) of |

As stupid as it might sound,it might b possible for the phone to record it but not to play it-no player included. Anything's possible with nokia. Supported doesn't really mean played.

Thankyov guys on the info on screen size. With that low res and that big screen, you can practically count the pixels!

Hmmm...takin videos but not playin them. That'll be the case of nokia pulling of a classic blokia. |

h.263 is the video format used by nokias to record and play video (i think). i'm not sure if there are various extensions of 3gp format and this is one, but there is an option in mpegable x4 live to convert vids to h.263 format
