Just been looking at screen protectors on SymMobile, i've ruined a screen already from not having a screen protector on it.

There's two types, Crystal Clear and Anti Scratch. Does the Crystal Clear not protect the screen from scratches? Which one would be the best to obtain?

Need to get one before i destroy my brand new P900!

Thanks!

SymMobile Crystal clear is moore like Martin fields, however don't know if it's as good. The both of them protect the screen but wear out faster than the SymMobile scratch resistant (not antiscratch).

I use the scratch resistant and love it, it's not as clear as Martin Fields but lasts sooo much longer. It also don't neeed so much cleaning as MF who are much moore sensitive to dust and finger prints.

If you wan't the clearest, buy Martin F. If you want a screen protector that last much longer and not are so dust/fingerprints sensitive but not are as clear as MF, buy Symmobile scratch resistant.

I have not tested Brando, only tested MF and SM scratch resistant.

Hey!

Thanks for your comments .Z.! Appreciate that

Sorry to wily, must've read it wrong! Thanks for the site!

I had a look on fonejunkie, but it's more expensive than SymMobile (without taking shipping costs into consideration)

FoneJunkie:
http://www.fonejunkie.com/pro[....]o.php?cPath=44&products_id=257

SymMobile Crystal-Clear:
http://www.symmobile.com/inde[....]screen_p900_clear¤cy=GBP

SymMobile Anti-Scratch:
http://www.symmobile.com/inde[....]=shop_screen_p900¤cy=GBP

Which one to get?

I want a protector which isn't going to make the screen appear dull and lifeless, because compared to other phones, the P900 screen isn't as bright or vivid as some i've seen, and i don't want to make it any worse. I need one which is also going to protect the screen from a lot of stylus use, especially instant messaging, writing notes on the jotter, etc. Would the crystal clear protector be sufficient to protect the screen from scratches, or would i need to get the Anti Scratch version?

Give me your thoughts please

Thanks!

I can only talk for SM scratch resistant and MF.

Do you use handwriting recognition (jotPro)? I do and that's what do the most scratches on the screen. That's why i love scratch resistant.

If you dont use JotPro i think MF is for you, it's quite a big difference in kontrast to SM scratch resistant. To get this superclear screen you have to clean it often, the scratch resistant you hardly never have to clean.

They will all protect your screen, it's not anti scratch, it's scratch resistant.
They are using the wrong name on the Symmobile sight, on my packaging it says scratch resistant.

@.Z.

Yes i use handwriting recognition, but does the scratch resistant protector make the screen seem a bit dim? or does it not make much of a difference?

btw, anti-scratch/scratch resistant means the same thing, mate

So you suggest i should go for the scratch resistant protector then?

I'm afraid that you have to see the difference yourself. With MF on you can't se the difference as without, the scratch res. is a bit milky by comparison but i like it and have get used with it. As i can see that it's almost impossible to scratch it and it is not attracting so much dust and fingerprints as MF i find it worth the less contrast.
You can test a MF and see, it will last for a while. If you think that it wear out fast, get a scratch res.

Sorry for my english...
