I've got the same problem with the Z800 firmware. What a bummer this is. I can only hope that later releases of the firmware will have Flash

if anyone wants to test it just go here in your browser:

http://www.flashcell.com/imode/test.swf

if you see content then at least your browser has flashlite.

There were 2 different deployments of flashlite - one for the v800 and one for the v802SE. The v802SE supports browser, wallpaper and screensaver whereas the v800 only supports the browser.

I hope SE do include it, not least because we are creating some really cool screensavers and wallpapers

Oh No.. i didn't realize about Z800 firmware...

But i think that's not very important for some users.

In Asian all we need is Chinese Pack... and Z800 has that.

will the K750 and W800 have flash lite?

EDIT: link to Macromedia Flash Lite page.

Some interesting features!:
"Flash Lite 1.1 includes support for both device fonts and embedded fonts..."
"Flash Lite 1.1 adds support for MP3, PCM, ADPCM, and SMAF audio formats to the MIDI support already available..."
"Flash-based games, news, tutorials, movie trailers, weather updates, traffic information, screen savers, animated ring tones, interactive maps..."

can you imagine a phones UI made entirely in Flash?

site says it's available for "Sony Ericsson (P800, P900, P910)" also.

@O2

Thanks for the correction I was only going off the Macromedia documentation.

What is the difference between a V800 and V802SE anyway?

Alright please excuse my ignorance here, but if you purchase Flash Lite 1.1 from Macromedia it comes with a flash player that it says can be installed. I have a V802SE with Z800i firmware. There's an application folder on the phoneis there a chance that I can install the player onto the phone? Like I said excuse my ignorance, don't know much about Flash or Macromedia

If you have the latest Z800i firmware for V800 (R1X031) you can at least set some Flash Light objects as both internal and external wallpaper. With R1X031 under pictures there is an object named 'Sunny Beach' that is a Flash Light object (has a 'f' symbol). Set it as wallpaper on both internal and external, you will then have a beach picture that changes from night / day as time goes by. So R1X031 at least supports some version of Flash Light.

Hello to everyone!

I just wondered, if there is any possibility to share this sunnybeach animation?
Mayby there is anyone out there, who has R1X031 software and try to load this file up to this forum.... so V800 users with vodafonesoftware, can try to use it on their phones...
Sorry for my poor english, but... you know just had english at school ;o)!

Thanks in advance
Timmy!

the themes are not similar at all

and perhaps you should read something like the whitepaper to see if it plays .swf files?
