Well if mum wont give cash wait a bit till p910 prices fall. Its better than s700 anyway. By that time save up some cash urself. Its the way we get stuff.

i was in your situation. i am now 15
BUT DONT GET THE S700I!!!! trust me, it is a real bummer having a highly expensive phone, which is quite large, at 14. i had a p900, and it pissed me off.
My advice, if you want loadsa memory, is wait till after christmas until  announce the K700i update, which should have more memory, and then get that. I have k700i, which is brill, but only 40 mb of mem which i would recommend to you highly if 40 mb is ok.
and - GET A PAPERROUND !!! been doing one for 3 years and it has supplied me with:
a palm
t200, t300, z200, p800, k700, k500
laptop
flatscreen
sound speakers
slimline ps2
before that, normal ps2
micro scooter  (its fun!)
chrissie presents
clothes
and more!

My God!
I have a 14-year old son myself and if he should start whining about S700 (or any other expensive phone for that matter) iŽd tell him to finance one himself! IF however he would show good will to really earn some money of course iŽd help him out.
If he acted like you guys iŽd sentence him to carry a fourth-hand T10 until age 18 or until moving out!

god i hate kids that just get everything, i mean, i have to pay for all i get! but i am happy, i would rather the money went to charity than to an S700i cause for myself. I hate the pricing for that phone

No, you won't get the joke, but a few months back i went mad on esato about the S700i pricing, and started really annoying everybody! at least i got my opinions heard 
i jus dont like the phone, cant WAIT for the K700i update tho!
