As i remember the startac didnt recognized the sender of an sms even it was stored as a contact in the card or fone, at the message was only the tel nr.

As much as I loved my R520 when I had it... I hope SE releases an updated T39!  ... or better yet, an updated T28/R320 collection!!!
I feel that the T28 and R320 had much sleeker designs than their younger siblings, the T39 and R520.

Oh for some reason i thought this was a quad band phone...oh well thats a shame.
You could always get the Razr V3 special edition 20 years from now!...I'll keep you posted mate!
