my Palm Vx went through Airport xray machines about 100 times last year(worked abroad and flew home every weekend)...no problems with it now.

going through the x-ray scanner will not damage it because the magnetic field is low.

keep it on top of a photocopy machine - and make a copy of the disk (for whatever reason!) - and you will have some fireworks..

equivalent to keep raw egg in a microwave along with a some other kitchen spices (i won't tell you which one)... you will think im a terrorist

decoy7, just for your info, a Palm device does not use a magnetic storage device such as a hard disk. Thus EM fields wouldn't affect it anyway.
