I do really like clamshell but after searching and searching i have only ever found one i like the look of which is the motorola A840 which i have no idea if it is at all coming out in the Uk, and now that i've seen the D500 i have realised that it looks really nice and seems to have alot of features for a good price.

It's a slider phone - I too like this phone and would have suggested it if you didn't specify "must be flip-phone" in your list. Just note that it doesn't have FM radio and IR and the memory is 80MB not expandable.

not to bothered about the Radio but im sure it said it has IR. i origianlly really wanted a flip-phone the only phone suggested that i liked the look of was the D500 and i had been searching and searching for a good looking flip-phone but have never found one, and no one suggested one that i liked so when i saw the D500 i was shocked at how nice it was and how many features it had.
