Try to resize the picture to 160 X 120 or 320 X 240. It makes the size smaller.

SE Sweden are aware of it, but havenīt had any complaints about it apparently which puzzles me! I got this info from a SE employee, the subject came up when he told me about the (at that time) unreleased V800. He mentioned that if you open clam and youīre answering too fast, you have to repeat your 'hello' because call hasnt been connected yet..
I told him to tell the FW-department that thereīs LOTS of K700 owners that absolutely hate that bug!

Thing is... does the interlocutor hear something during the lag (is the mike working) or is it just the transmitter hearing nothing the 2 first seconds?

during the lag nothing is transmitted/received on both sides.
resistance is futile.

ThreeX: Can you get some information about the R2AA firmware?
Some people that upgraded his k700 before it was removed from SE servers state that this version solved the problem....

MArcus: That firmware wasn't officially released yet, due to some problems. It was removed from SE servers a few hours after it was released...

I hate that lag!!!! It might just be one second long, but it feels like eternety. Why do they have to create new bugs every time they release a new phone?
I've just spoken whith the call center and a new software will be available soon, but he couldn't tell when, most probably in january.

The AA was only available for a very short period, so we will have to wait. It's sad that one has to wait 6-7 months to get the phone working as intended. I have som connections in the mobile industry, and they told me that SE and Nokia wants us to by new phones several times a year. I don't really understand how that can be possible, if a phone is not working as intended even 6 months after release. Should we walk around with malfunctioning units all the time? Why not manufacture stuff that actually works from the beginning, it would be much better for everybody.

Absolutely right, and that was the way it used to be too. The longest i have had a phone is 4 years (Ericsson S868) and it worked from day one, and still works for all i know. Same story with Nokia 2110i. .i mean noone had ever heard of fw updates back then?!
Now, some of you may say that the phones have become infinitely more complicated since then, and sure, thatīs true, but so has everything else! I mean.. would you even consider accepting a new Saab 9-3 turbo that occasionally jumps out of gear, or sometimes just stop by the roadside and requires you to remove the battery and put it back in?
Naah, didnīt think so, right? So hello manufacturers, please do your own beta testing and release finished sets, ok?

Just off the phone to SE here in Sweden and the update on the net is still R2L but if you go to an authorised dealer/repair shop they can update with R2AA.

There was no exact time as to when the Update site on the net will get R2AA.

if a pic is added to a caller, there is a second lag....... removing the picture solves this reducing will not. at least that is my experience.
