I love the feature set but I'm not too big on the design. It's cool but not hip.

shame on you blayv, postin a nokia in the forum. Hehe, anyways. I don't like the design at all, its an ugly phone, the screen is nice, the buttons ok, but small looking. Other then that, the design has nothing special about it. Not to mention the cheap plastic they will most likely use again.
And looks can be decieving.. when the ngauge came out, it claimed to have everything, well it did, but it did them all like crap. Nokia used to be a good company, but lately i'm not impressed. |

I'm only new as a poster here. I've been visiting esato since last year. I could also call myself SE fan cause 8 out of 9 phones i had were Ericsson/SE. But I think every good phone should be taken to consideration, the brand is not important when phone is good. Anyway I'd like to try it.

I'm asking myself could SE sue them cause similarity to t610 is more than obvious.

If Nokia thinks Sagem My X5-2 is copy of N 6610 then SE can sure think 3230 is a copy of T610 |

your joking right? why is it similar because its square, big screen, and simple key layout?

I think it's mainly the colouring about the 3230 that reminds the old T610 in some respect. The dimensions, proportions etc are more off. The Sagem phone was much closer to Nokia 6100.
The K700 doesn't have that much larger a screen btw
3230: 176 x 208
K700: 176 x 220

in terms of physical screen size, the 3230 will be 40% bigger than K700. Same goes for all the other Series60 phones. |

How could it go for all Series 60 phones when they have considerable differences in their sizes? 3650 for example is about 130mm, 3230 is only 109mm |

3230 impression
The keypad i s positioned way too low on this one.
It will be unconfortable to use it with one hand only.
It's also much thinner in the lower part which makes it easier to drop by accident.
And design - yes it resembles T610, just like 6020 resembles T630.
