....and chrisdaniels solution (point of view) of using another mobile is just as easy, and just as valid - and since your solution relies on having/buying/installing Outlook, having/buying a B/T adaptor & being next to the PC that has this equipment when you set a recurring appointment - chris's solution is prolly even 'more' valid, since you will 'never' be more than 10 feet from a mobile that can do it, on behalf of the K700

wow...that is so logical...to have another phone just to send appointments to my k700!!!

Listen, i use bt and Outlookīs calendar everyday, at work and at home, and so does lots of advanced k700 users, so why the f....should i care about using another phone for sending reminders??? Thatīs just plain dumb...

@Arez
YOU use Outlook/BT-dongle..
I got news for you, not everyone else does just because you do. Besides, any tip that is useful (which the Nokia tip is) is/might be of help. Suppose i have a Nokia at home but no BT-dongle and i absolutely hate MS Outlook?
Better cut down on caffeine before lunch and chill a little?
Cheers.

The number of people that have quick acess to a nokia or other phone to send the recurrent reminder everytime it is is needed is ridiculous compared to the number of people that have a bt dongle along with the k700...and you can use other programs besides Outlook to do it, like Lotus Notes, FMA, etc

If you didnīt noticed, the guy who started this thread asked the easier way to set birthday alarms in the k700, without having to set them every year - well, THIS IS THE BEST WAY

Yeah, whatever..
I usually set my recurring birthday reminders ONCE since everyone i know has birthday the same date every year, and whether you do that with BT dongle, IR, other phone or homing pigeon is less relevant really.

Jesus Arez !

Just because I was offering an alternative solution - you spit your dummy out !!

I think you need to set your own birthday reminder and remember how old you are !

Some of us on here dont 'live like you' and dont really want to be like you - especially with that attitude..

I wasnīt talkink to you, but with ThreeX, and our argument just ended...itīs you that need to chill out...

Iīm not saying your option doesnīt work, but the sync with pc method is more convenient and powerfull

I use the k700+outlook professionally...go call "kids" to your classmates, will you???

Little bit old for school now mate..

I was only offering a solution that I found, just because you have found a different method does not make you any more 'proffesional' as you put it.. and does not give you the right to slate everybody else.

Get over yourself

discussion over.
