that's the worlds perspective, not because lots of people like him, but more out of a blind hope he might be less terrible than bush.

Unfortunately, even if he got elected, what can he do?
Say he pulls out the American troops, from Iraq and from Afghanistan. What does that mean? For the world? For the countries (like mine) who were dumb enough to send their own soldiers as well?

Just getting him elected qon't provide a 'quick fix' for all that is wrong with the world. Far from it.

And although I despise Bush for all he's done... I do not (at all) have the faith theb Kerry is capable of dealing with the 'heritage' of 4 yrs Bush.

@Vlamm

Those are good points you raise, but I would like to see Kerry given the chance to correct some of Bush's mistakes. He might turn out to be very similar to Bush, but if Bush is re-elected then we know what we are getting, at least with Kerry there is a chance of something better.

ironic isn't it? only a very meager 56% of all eligible voters actually vote..... apparently the other 44% doesn't give a damn. Yet the whole world wished we could vote as well coz we sure do give a damn!

From american perspective, and knowing in the back of my head that terrorism, fear and hate have been cultivated enprmously since 2001, the logical thinking is exactly reversed...... it is closer to 'with Bush we know he's gonna be tough on terrorists, whith Kerry we can only guess whether or not he will come through for our sakes'

They do not quite see the world like you and I do... most don't anyway. I've had a rather lengthy chat with a few buddies of mine in Florida. Buddies who, ironically, were stopped by a few white big men 4 years ago and never got to vote. Buddies who are not from the Bush demographic. Buddies who didn't vote his brother for governor either. buddies who are determined to vote today. And not for Bush.

Worlds lighing example of democracy makes me wanna

kerry doesn't stand a chance.

Kerry went to vietnam. Kerry will have a strong military ethic, possibly even more so than Bush. However, Kerry at least has a glimmer of intelligence. Oh he will still invade countries who disagree with his point of view, but he will perhaps think more about what he's doing, and who he atttacks. In less than 20 years i reckon the US government will lead us into another world war, and what worries me is the British government will be their yes-men.

I might vote for bush too. Just too much of a temptation. Within his hands lie the key for a crumbling america.
