if only the S700 had a 2.5mm socket
only the P series have that, for all the other phones the headset uses the standard ericsson connector at the base of the phone

Expansys sell them. I bought one for my SPV and it does exactly what it says on the pack. Plug it in the 2.5 jack and then plug the 3.5 headphone into it and voila.
What? The S700 and Z1010 do not have 2.5 jacks

You could try this one:

You just need a 2,5" to 3,5" adapter (like the one in the post above me) to plug in a headphone. I don't know if it will work though.

That skullcandy jacked link (that ebay one) -
http://www.advancedmp3players[....]oduct_info.php?products_id=249
Link to makers website:
http://www.skullcandy.com/linkDetail.php?urlLocation=link
Out of stock atm. I've also sent a query to the makers if the Link device allows full stereo output to the jack from the phone. |

Problem with this http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/2230.htm
is that its 2,5mm output - and mini jack is 3,5mm - right?
thats alot of converts...
Cant we just make one ourselves? Tear apart one of them stock headsets, and attach a female 3,5mm adapter to the plug? if you know what I mean. |

I used to have an adaptor to use on my t68i which pluged into the bottom of the phone. My Jabra handfree then pluged into it. The adaptor is'nt made by Jabra. If you go into The Link they have the adaptors in stock for all makes of phone. Just ask for a handsfree adaptor. I think The Link stock the ones made by Condor.

Do The Link adapters support stereo output though? I already have a 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter for my P800, so I'm not too bothered with having SE -> 2.5mm conversions. |

Not sure. It was a long time ago when I used one and the Jabra handsfree was where the mike and speaker were all in one unit which was placed in the ear. The T68i did'nt have stereo output anyway so I would'nt know . Dont have the adaptor and headset anymore as I sold it with my T68i nearly 2 years ago.
